Soil sensors that tell farmers when to water
Fruit growers over-water by a third because they irrigate on a calendar, wasting water and washing away fertiliser they paid for.
Tendril's probes measure moisture at root depth and text the grower a daily irrigation plan for each block, with no network set-up.
Orchards and vineyards of 10–500 hectares.
Bottom-up: about 45,000 customers like this in Israel and nearby, worth roughly $240 million a year at our prices.
What people use today
Mostly spreadsheets, phone calls and doing nothing. The established suppliers sell to large organisations and are too expensive and too slow to set up for the customers we serve.
Why this team wins
Noa grew up in an orchard family and designed low-power sensors for seven years, so the team knows the buyers by name. Eitan built the core technology, and the first customers came by referral.
260 active users, growing 16% a month
Noa knows the customer and has sold to them before; Eitan has built this kind of system at scale. We have worked side by side since before Tendril had a name.
