مسئله

Desert cities import 85% of their fresh vegetables, which arrive a week old at three times the price they cost to grow.

راه‌حل

Aerofarm Labs builds container farms that grow leafy greens with 95% less water, run by software that tunes light and nutrients to each crop.

برای چه کسانی

Supermarkets, hotels and caterers in hot, dry climates.

بازار

Bottom-up: about 30,000 customers like this in United Arab Emirates and nearby, worth roughly $160 million a year at our prices.

رقابت و مزیت

آنچه امروز استفاده می‌شود

Mostly spreadsheets, phone calls and doing nothing. The established suppliers sell to large organisations and are too expensive and too slow to set up for the customers we serve.

چرا این تیم برنده است

Layla researched plant science for six years and managed a commercial vertical farm, so the team knows the buyers by name. Yusuf built the core technology, and the first customers came by referral.

شاخص اصلی

12 active users, growing 8% a month

تیم

Layla knows the customer and has sold to them before; Yusuf has built this kind of system at scale. We have worked side by side since before Aerofarm Labs had a name.
